Run Track Pants

Two natural fibres. One beautiful fleece.

Made from a rare blend of cotton and wool, this is a substantial knitted fleece with a soft, warm brushed interior and a beautifully tactile outer surface.

I chose this fabric because of how it feels, how it wears and the quality of the fibres themselves, not simply because it was available as deadstock.

Cotton brings softness and breathability. Wool brings warmth, resilience and its distinctive natural character. Together, they make a fabric that feels considerably more special than an everyday synthetic-blend track pant.

Designed for actual kids

These aren’t precious track pants. They’re designed to be worn hard, washed, folded, rolled and grown into.

• Deep foldable hem — wear it folded when they’re smaller, then let it down as they grow.
• Elastic waist + external drawcord — extra adjustability without a knot sitting against a small tummy.
• No side seams — fewer bulky internal seams for kids who notice every little thing.
• Room for cloth nappies — because comfort shouldn’t depend on what they’re wearing underneath.
• One proper pocket — sized for small hands and small treasures, with curved corners so things don’t get stuck inside.

The brushed side of the fabric sits against the skin, giving them the warmth and softness of fleece without the synthetic feel or microfibres of polyester.

Each colourway shows off the naturally different surfaces of the fabric.

Lemon / Mustard

A note about the length

I’ve made these slightly longer to allow for the natural vertical shrinkage of wool.

Please buy your normal size.

The trousers can be expected to reduce in length by approximately 5% on the first wash. After that, there should be no further change when washed cool, on a low spin cycle and without a dryer.
