Vintage island life, customised pattern clash, stylised sporty or a not-so-basic, basic. How would you style The Goldsmith dungaree?
I’ve gathered some of my favourite childrenswear brands together in a series to celebrate how versatile and fun dungarees are.
It was so difficult deciding on which top to select from Bobo Chose Their designers are a talented bunch. In the end I couldn’t go past this vintage tiki inspired print because 1. I love the peach with the tan of The Goldsmith 2. it’s always fun to shake it up and think beyond toddlers & t-shirts.
For a pop of personality you can’t go past a custom letter tee from A Tribe Well Dressed. Lindsay appliqués together colourful pieces of fabric to create individual letters which she then sews on tees and sweats. She’s a huge believer in zero waste and has recently collaborated with another fave brand of mine Om Baby, to use up some of her gorgeous Indian block printed cotton offcuts.
I couldn’t resist channelling a bit of football fever at the moment & this clever tee from Molo gives a playful nod to the game without having to go too footy mad, however if you do feel that way inclined, check out the weathered football print that they also offer, its pretty ace.
And finally for a bit of understated cool I’ve picked this ace long sleeve tee with contrast black neck band from Turtledove London. They do lovely things with organic jersey. If minimal with a touch of geo & stripes is your vibe then you’ll be right at home with this cool conscious brand.
